Digital ICCD camera S4X is intended for operation in a wide faceplate illuminance range – from 1×10-4 lx to 103 lx.
Image sensor comprises the frame-transfer CCD with a fiber-optic input window, optically directly coupled with the phosphor screen of the XX1950 image intensifier tube (from Photonis-DEP, the Netherlands). The CCD provides light overload protection.
The camera is manufactured in a small-size monoblock design with extended range of the operational temperatures and in shock- and vibration-proofed version.
The camera features all-digital image processing (AGC, dark frame subtraction, flat-field correction, etc.). The gain control is
implemented via changing of the gating time (within 50 ns – 40 ms range), changing of the image intensifier gain, and with a help of an auto iris (if any). The camera provides protection of the image intensifier from light overload.
The camera operates either in an automatic or in a manual control of gain, exposure time and lens iris. The trigger mode of operation is supported, when the exposure starts by an external pulse.
The camera software runs under Windows®2000/XP/Vista and provides control of the camera operation and displaying of an image
directly on PC monitor in real time.
The camera has a standard video output for the operation with a TV monitor.
Interface to computer - serial LVDS, max length - 15 m.
